From what I found size and connectors are the same so far so good but any idea what else could be required. I will take a look to wiring diagram to check the cable order

Hi i'm new to this forum, wondering if anyone can help, i have a 53 plate mondeo 2L, the instrument cluster has failed, speedo, odo, fuel gauge, temp gauge, LCDs, and front heated windscreen not working at all, also oil warning and screenwash lights staying on, can anyone give me any ideas please.
But also had problems with the radio/CD constantly cutting out. Had no end of mechanics looking for the problem. Ford main dealers included. Then after a night ‘googling’ the problem, one post suggested getting the instrument cluster checked. Sure enough, the processors in the cluster were failing. New cluster and problem completely solved.
The instrument cluster will enter the gauge sweep test. If the temp gauge moves from top to bottom then you know the gauge on the dash is ok. I had a problem on my 2008 1.8 TDCI Mondeo where temp gauge in dash would either stay on the minimum reading or intermittently report 45 Degrees.
