Had the car about 6 weeks now and noticed earlier this week with the first frost that only one side of the heated windscreen is working. referred to earlier posts that stayed i needed to look at F14 and F16 in the engine fuse box. front jets are activated by using the heated front screen- it's only the jet nozzle that's heated - if its cold enough to freeze the nozzle its cold enough to freeze the fluid in the washer pipe ..motor runs but no water as washer pipe itself is frozen- backs not heated but water freezes in the pipe under the front wheel arch..will eventually thaw after about 30 mins of driving

Im not sure why the mechanic thinks this si the cause. A diagnostic check for codes of the module may show codes to replace it, but since it is a module, it would need to be programmed by a dealer in order for it to work. Im not saying its a fuse thats causing it, you check for amperage and remove fuses until you see the amp reading drop.

there is a known issue with DAB signal being interrupted by interference from some 12v charger plug in adapters. My wifeâs VW Sharan has hard wired dashcams front and rear and no issues with DAB, but if we plug a phone charger in the DAB signal drops in and out and make it impossible to listen to. Quote.
